First Floor

  • A large auditorium that can host up to 350, with an attached overflow/catering space and a hospitality suite
  • The Food For Thought Cafe, which features specialty sandwiches, salads, flatbread pizzas, cookies and Dole Whip soft-serve frozen dessert
  • Auditorium can be set up in classroom, banquet or theatre style
  • Climate control and automated shade system can be used to create the appropriate atmosphere, no matter the time of day or year

Second Floor

  • Two large classrooms featuring tiered seating and the latest audio and video technology
  • Classrooms include individual computer stations that convert to flat top desks
  • Room 2A includes personal charging stations at each seat
  • Room 2B has VGA/HDMI input for guest PCs and six rows of attached suspension seating
  • A board room including immersive audioconferencing technology and attached kitchenette
  • A technology classroom, equipped with individual student computers
  • A convertible classroom, capable of a variety of furniture set-up options
  • Two collaboration workrooms for small meetings or teamwork
  • Wellness room available to guests for quiet respite or nursing mothers
  • Support space for the MHS Transformation Division

Third Floor

  • A state-of-the-art Simulation Center that provides learners the opportunity to develop their skills through simulation and skills training¬†
    • Simulated settings include: a nurses station, patient care room, operating room, emergency treatment and trauma rooms, specialty patient care room that doubles as a labor and delivery room or an intensive care suite, patient exam room, ambulance and outdoor environment and a patient home which features a kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom and restroom
    • Open to learners from the health system as well as the community
    • Room 3B is a dynamic classroom with four patient exam bays, high fidelity mannequins and the ability to record audio and video for debrief
  • Two debrief rooms for viewing and discussing completed simulations
  • Two clinical classroom spaces for clinical education offerings; room 3D has the ability to record audio and video for debrief
  • Support space for the MHS Transformation Division
  • Collaboration spaces for small meetings or teamwork

Fourth Floor

  • J. Roland Folse, MD Surgical Skills Center which allows learners to stay on the cutting-edge of practice and technology through surgical skills sessions
  • Collaboration spaces for small meetings or teamwork; these spaces feature smartboard annotation displays as well as whiteboard film providing efficient use of wall space and privacy for guests.
  • Two multi-purpose classrooms
  • Two technology classrooms equipped with individual student computers
  • Professional Development Lab for use in educating current and future physicians using standardized patients and real-world scenarios
  • Support Space for MHS Quality & Patient Safety
