The Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation offers the following technology products and services:
The Christie Brio allows for you to share content wirelessly and gives you the ability to annotate on top of content displayed on our monitors as well as turning the display into a whiteboard.
Clickshare is another method for sharing content from your laptop wirelessly. Just plug the dongle into a USB port, open up the application, install the driver and press the Clickshare button to start displaying content.
Cisco is our video conferencing software found in rooms throughout the MCLI. Operated through our room iPads, it allows you to share content with multiple users in different locations across the country.
Shure Wireless Microphones
Giving a presentation to a large crowd of people? We offer wireless microphones to make that happen. We also use these microphones to talk back to a far end communicator in the case of video conferencing and audio conferencing. We have both handheld and lapel wireless microphones available.
ClearOne Ceiling Microphones
Not all the rooms have handheld or lapel mics. You will find these microphones mounted to the ceiling for ease of communication between you and a far end communicator.
Don’t have your own computer to bring? That’s okay; we provide our own. Each room is equipped with a computer linked directly to the display.
Wall Mounted iPads
Each room is equipped with an iPad with functionality to control every technical aspect of a room using an application called Crestron. From room lighting to switching between sources and dialing out for video conferencing, the Crestron application makes everything user friendly to achieve your presentation goals. There is also a Get Help button in case you encounter any technical difficulties.
At The MCLI, we make sure participants can listen easily and hear presentations. Several rooms in our building are outfitted with listening assistance technology so that everyone can hear without issue.
