Grief and Loss Support Group: 6-Week Course

Dealing with feelings of grief and sorrow can be overwhelming in the midst of a loss. Our grief support groups offer a private setting for individuals to share, discuss feelings, receive support and offer comfort to others who have shared a similar experience. Various support group options are offered throughout our service area to meet your needs.
This 6-week course is a closed group of 12-15 individuals.
Attendees will engage in group discussion as part of their journey to process and accept grief and loss. Facilitated by a Hospice Clinical Social Worker, attendees follow a curriculum that focuses on the five states of grief with time to share, reflect and offer support to one another. The course utilizes materials developed by experts in the field of grief counseling. Content is appropriate for ages 12 and older.
